To provide a faucet which prevents adhesion of soil thereto even after long-term service, spouts an ordinary straight stream of water in the same manner as a conventional faucet, and also spouts a stream of water fitted for washing dishes, vegetables, and precut vegetables for salad.
The faucet has a discharge port arranged at the tip thereof, for spouting a straight stream of water; a discharge port consisting of slits formed in a lower surface thereof in an axial direction, for spouting a cascade-like stream of water; a guide channel axially arranged in the faucet, for guiding water and hot water toward the discharge port at the tip, for spouting the straight stream of water; and a guide channel axially arranged in the faucet, for guiding water and hot water toward the slit-like discharge port for spouting the cascade-like stream of water.
