Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a system for diagnosing a fault and a fault diagnostic program which enable diagnosis of the fault in a short time from acceptance of repair. SOLUTION: The device for diagnosing faults is provided with a knowledge base 20 in which knowledge constituted by making words in relation to symptoms of the fault correspond to the next inquiry item when the words are obtained are recorded, a first diagnostic part 30 in which words of a customer who appeals the symptoms of the fault and words of the customer that indicates a response to a question are inputted and creates a list of the words and questions of the customers by sequentially repeating processes for obtaining the next inquiry items by retrieving the knowledge base 20 based on the inputted words, a second diagnostic part 40 that creates a list of additional questions to the questions in the list which is created by the first diagnostic part 30 and words as customer's responses to the additional questions and a knowledge update part 50 that updates the knowledge recorded in the knowledge base 20, based on the list created by the second diagnostic part 40.
