To provide a fecal matter disposal apparatus capable of efficiently decomposing fecal matter such as human waste by stirring a nutrient medium in a fecal matter treating vessel together with the fecal matter not only in the circumferential direction but also in the vertical direction.
The nutrient medium 12 by which microorganisms are cultivated and grown on wood chips and sawdust etc. is charged into the fecal matter treating vessel 1. A stirring arm 14 having a radius extended near inside wall of the bottom surface of the vessel 1 is rotatably supported on a vertically rotative driving shaft of the center in the vessel 1. The stirring arm 14 is constituted so as to stir the nutrient medium 12 together with the fecal matter by the rotation around the vertically rotative driving shaft and, at the same time, transfer the nutrient medium 12 toward the center of the bottom surface of the vessel 1. A circulating conveyance device 10 which charges again the nutrient medium 12 after the treatment transferred to the center of the bottom surface from the bottom part of the vessel 1 through a nutrient medium charging port 6 on the upper part thereof is disposed on the outer periphery of the vessel 1. Thereby, the efficient oxidation degradation of the fecal matter such as human waste is achieved by means of the microorganisms.
