Abstract:
To provide a feed additive for fishes and shellfishes capable of solving many problem such as water pollution in crawl culture, frequent occurrence of fish diseases and adhesion of malodor and feed for fishes and shellfishes mainly composed of vegetable proteins and strengthened by using the above additive.
This feed additive for fishes and shellfishes comprises an amino acid salt or an amino acid condensate obtained by binding at least one alkaline earth metal ion selected from the group consisting of magnesium, calcium and zinc to a 2-11C amino acid or a condensation product of the above amino acid with glycine or alanine. This feed for fishes and shellfishes is obtained by compounding the feed additive with a vegetable protein.
