Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed forward-type amplifier which can obtain satisfactory distortion reduction effect even to the input signal of a wide frequency band.
SOLUTION: A load circuit 102 making distortions caused in an amplifier circuit 101 asymmetrical on a frequency axis and concentrating them to one side with a basic wave frequency as a center is connected to the output side of the amplifier circuit 101 which power-amplifies an input signal to an input terminal 100. A distortion component extraction circuit 103 extracts a distortion component caused by the amplifier circuit 101 and a distortion cancel signal whose amplitude is similar to and whose phase is opposite to the distortion component is generated. The distortion cancel signal is added to an output signal from the amplifier circuit 101, which is taken out through a load circuit 102, by an adder 104 and therefore an output signal whose distortion is reduced is obtained.
