Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a needle wire from being excessively slackened by feeding the wire a little bit much more, allowing its excessive length to be returned back, and thereby allowing the excessive length to be absorbed by a slack regulating section between two feed rollers when the needle wire is fed.
CONSTITUTION: When the device is adapted to a round-chip-box forming machine which is often used for forming a lunch box and the like, a needle wire 1 winded up by a reel 3 is fed out by a first feed roller means 4, and the inscription of the wire to an up-guide plate 16 and a down-guide plate 18 in a slackening room 6 allows the needle wire to be thereby turned over. After the wire has been turned over, the needle wire 1 is led to a driving machine 5 by a second feed roller means 8. And when the wire comes close to an approaching sensor 20, for example, up to 5mm while being excessively slackened, the operation of the first feed roller means 4 is suspended as soon as its approaching is sensed by the sensor, so that slackening is reduced by the feed of the second feed roller means 8. And when the wire comes close to a lower sensor 22, for example, down to 10mm, the first feed roller 4 is made to start operating as soon as its approaching is sensed by the sensor.
