Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a shape of material to be cooled by supplying the material having low viscosity to an overflow feeder, and supplying the material flowing from the feeder to a double belt type cooler while cooling it by a cooling platen. SOLUTION: Material to be cooled having low viscosity is supplied from a feed pipe 1 to a trough-like overflow feeder 2 formed in a V-shaped section or the like. And, the material from the feeder 2 is made substantially in a uniform thickness in a width direction of the feeder 2 and overflowed. And, the material flowing from the feeder 2 is further supplied to a cooling platen 3 obliquely arranged at a lower position of the feeder 2, precooled to predetermined temperature with refrigerant circulating through a jacket 31 arranged in the platen 3, and supplied from a steel belt 41 of the double belt type cooler 4 between upper and lower steel belts 41 and 42.
