This device comprises a table 2 on which a laminated veneer 1 is put, a vacuum pad 4 which absorbs the veneer, a rotatable arm 6 to which the vacuum pad 4 is installed and which presses the veneer 1 from above, the a moving device 7 for the rotatable arm. The rotatable arm 6 is extensible, comprises a fixed frame which is concentric with its own rotation axis, and connects the fixed frame 6b with the vacuum pad 4 through a belt means with fixed length. The rotatable arm 6, if the vacuum pad 4 absorbs a plurality of the veneers 1, rotates to one direction, while the vacuum pad 4 moves at the same time, so as to curve the veneer. Repulsion by curving hereat and deviation formed in curving cause a veneer after a second veneer to be separated, resulting in leaving a just one veneer.
