To provide a feeding method and a feeding device for a molten resin lump by which the molten resin lump can surely be dropped into a female die for compression molding without a timing delay from a cylindrical transfer guide which carries the molten resin lump to the female die for compression molding.
A gas nozzle head is attached onto the cylindrical transfer guide on the top of the female die for compression molding, and a high pressure gas is jetted into the upper region of the housing chamber of the transfer guide from the jetting port 18 of the nozzle head, and thus, a molten resin lump 15 is surely dropped into the female die. In this manner, the molten resin lump does not stick to the inner peripheral surface of the housing chamber of the transfer guide, and the molten resin lump can smoothly be dropped into the female die for compression molding in a short period of time. Also, there is no unevenness in the timing for the dropping time, and the production management can be facilitated.
