Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the cleaning of a felt needle and/or to lower the fiber- accumulating tendency of the felt needle.
SOLUTION: This felt needle 5 has a long and narrow needle body which comprises a chuck portion 14, a working portion 16 having plural hooks 15 in the longitudinally extended direction and formed in a smaller diameter than the diameter of the chuck portion 14, and a shift portion 17 formed between the chuck portion 14 and the working portion 16, has a style that a diameter- reducing region 17 for gradually reducing the diameter from the chuck portion 14 to the working portion 16 is formed in the shift portion 17, and is fixed to a needle port 2. Therein, the diameter-reducing region 17 has a length of two times or more the length of the working portion 16.
