PURPOSE: To reduce the permanent setting of loop type engagement elements in fatigue, and improve engagement function by arranging the specific number of rows of multi-filament engagement elements for one row of monofilament engagement elements on a flat fastener member along the breadthwise direction thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Loop type engagement elements 3 containing one to four rows of multi-filaments are arranged on a flat fastener member along the breadthwise direction thereof for one row of loop type engagement elements 4 containing one row of monofilaments. For example, the engagement elements 3 made of multi-filaments and the engagement elements 4 of monofilaments are arrayed alternately for every row on a fastener in the breadthwise direction thereof, and the elements 3 are arranged at both ends of the fastener along the breadthwise direction thereof. As a result, the elements 3 at both ends of the fastener eliminate such a zone as prohibiting the engagement of both male and female fasteners at either end in a breadthwise direction, and the occurrence of easy disengagement due to floating can be prevented.
