Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a female terminal fitting capable of ensuring freedom from the deformation of the bent section of an elastic contact piece.
CONSTITUTION: This female terminal fitting 21 is used to insert a flat male terminal 53 in a square electrical contact section 27 having an elastic contact piece 37 internally bent back from the end of a bottom plate 31. A protection wall 51 for protecting the bent section 39 of the contact piece 37 is formed at the open end of the section 27 for inserting the male terminal 53.
