PURPOSE: To easily and quickly fix a fence to a desired place on a top board by providing protruded members on both the sides of the top board of the table of a drill press, and also providing blocks so as to grip the protruded members from both sides respectively on both the sides of the main body of the fence mounted so as to cross the top board.
CONSTITUTION: The push-pressure part 201b of one side block 201 is applied to one side protruded member 167, and the eccentric cam 206 of the eccentric cam mechanism of the other side block 202 is applied to another side protruded member 167. When the eccentric cam mechanism is operated and the eccentric cam 206 is applied to the protruded member 167, it is pushed to a top board 100 inward and is pushed to the lower surface of a fence 6. Concurrently with this, since a push-pressure part 201b located on the opposite side with the top board 100 between is pulled toward the protruded member 167, it is pushed to the top board 100 inward, and is pushed to the lower surface of the fence 6. consequently the fence 6 is easily and quickly fixed onto the top board 100.
