Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000309913
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a fender capable of preventing the damage in rubber legs of the fender and greatly promoting durability.

A fender 10 is equipped with bumper plates 12 and rubber legs 14 as rubber bodies. The rubber legs 14 are formed in the shape of a plate, and they are mounted so as to open out from the rear sides of two bumper plates 12 in a truncated chevron-shape. Mounting sections on the sides of the bumper plates and mounting sections 18 on the side of a quaywall from the longitudinal end along a mounted wall surface of the quaywall or the like are extended to the longitudinal direction. The mounting sections 18 are respectively mounted to the bumper plates 12 and quaywall or the like with bolts 20. Even when the rubber legs 14 are greatly deformed, the rubber legs 14 are not brought into contact with the heads of the bolts 20 at all, and damages in the rubber legs 14 are prevented.
