Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new fender wherein an easily replaceable surface layer composed of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene is more firmly overlaid for integration on a rubber fender body through a simplified process. SOLUTION: The surface layer is overlaid for integration on the rubber fender body through an intermediate layer composed of a thermoplastic elastomer.
