Title:
REMOVING METHOD OF TELLURIUM FROM COPPER SULFATE SOLUTION CONTAINING TELLURIUM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3136093
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a method to remove tellurium from a soln. that the method can be easily performed in a short time.
SOLUTION: A copper sulfate soln. containing tellurium is brought into contact with a copper material to produce copper telluride so as to selectively remove the telluride from the soln. In this method, the concn. of sulfuric acid in the soln. is controlled to ≥250g/L, and the sulfate soln. is stirred while preventing intrusion of air. The whole surface area of the copper material is preferably 0.01 to 0.2m2 to 1L of the soln.
