Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal device which can decompose even garbage containing waste wood at a comparatively low temperature.SOLUTION: A garbage disposal device is provided with an air diffusion plate 32 inside a side face of a mixture container 12, where this air diffusion plate 32 is bow-shaped similarly to a bottom side surface of the mixture container 12. A top edge of the air diffusion plate 32 is welded to a side wall inner surface of the mixture container 12, and a lower edge of the air diffusion plate 32 extends to a position slightly higher than the bottom of the mixture container 12 and is provided with a spacer 33 between the air diffusion plate 32 and the side wall inner surface of the mixture container 12 so that the gap between the air diffusion plate 32 and the side wall inner surface of the mixture container 12 becomes large at the lower edge. The length of the air diffusion plate 32 is almost equal to the length of the mixture container 12; and therefore, a slit opening 34 with a width of e.g. about 10 mm is formed over the full length of the mixture container 12 to get air containing active oxygens such as hydroxy radical (HO ) produced by an electronized device 30 fed into the mixture container 12 through this opening 34.
