Title:
FERMENTED FOOD PACKAGING CONTAINER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3063031
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a container from being inflated because of pressure of gas by a method wherein fermentation gas passing through vent holes formed at the central area of a lid that seals up a container is deodorized, and the deodorized fermentation gas is discharged.
SOLUTION: A deodorizing means 40 made up by adsorbing a liquid component containing a wool wax acid and a glyceride mixture of a non-side-chain type fatty acid to a porous circular sponge is arranged at the inside of a circular recess 22 at a fluid part for gas. Fermented foods such as Korean pickles in a container 5 autonomously produce gas by fermentation in the process of markatting or distribution. The fermentation gas produces odor while increasing pressure at the inside of the container 5. The produced fermentation gas passes through a number of vent holes 24 formed at the fluid part for gas and goes through the deodorizing means 40. After deodorizing in such processes, the fermentation gas is discharged to the outside of the container through a discharge port 55 of an attachment label 50. Since the pressure at the inside of the container 5 is kept constant because of discharge of the fermentation gas, the packaging container 5 is not inflated.
