Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a ferritic electrode efficient in electrolysis at a cost as low as possible by increasing the surface area of the electrode with respect to the volume of a spece occupied by the electrode.

CONSTITUTION: A ferritic flat sheet 1 is baked as a raw material, both sides of the sheet 1 are ground by corrugated-surface grindstones 2 and 3, hence the surface oxide layer of the sheet 1 is removed, and the sheet 1 is corrugated.
