Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the revolutionary stainless steel which saves the processing stage entailing the adverse influence on products and a substantial cost increase and can improve the adhesion of enamel and the enamel pretreating method thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The high enamel adhesion is attained by subjecting the ferritic stainless steel contg. 0.05 to 0.5% Si, 0.05 to 0.75% Mn, 0.01 to 0.3% Al, and 11.5 to 30% Cr to an oxidation treatment at Y≤1/15X-47 and 300≤X≤800, where the dew point (°C) is designated a Y and the heat treating temp. (°C) as X.
