Title:
FERTILIZER CONTAINING LOW-NITROGEN ORGANIC MATTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2965095
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To promote the effective utilization of unused industrial wastes and to control the conversion of the inorg. nitrogen applied in soil to org. and inorg. nitrogen by adjusting the contents of the crude fiber and crude oil as the low- nitrogen org. matter in the fertilizer.
CONSTITUTION: The low-nitrogen org. matter contg. ≥15 dry wt.% of the crude fiber plus crude fat wherein the crude fat content is controlled to ≥3% and with the total nitrogen content controlled to ≤2.5% and a nitrogen fertilizer are mixed to obtain a fertilizer composition. In this case, the total carbon content of the composition is adjusted to 10-40%, and the weight ratio of the total carbon to nitrogen derived from the nitrogen fertilizer is controlled to (0.5 to 10):1. Lees from the production of coffee, glucose and wheat-gluten, the strained lees of camellia oil, palm oil, waste vegetable oil, etc., are appropriately used as the low-nitrogen org. matter. The manuring effect of the obtained fertilizer is maintained until the crops are obtained, and the fertilizer produces an effect in accord with the nitrogen requirement by the crop.
