Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an external agent stimulating the biosynthesis of melamine to change the color of hair or skin into natural black color.
CONSTITUTION: A melamine production-stimulating agent contains ferulic acid or its ester typified by the ferulic acid or γ-oryzanol. The application of the title composition using the ferulic acid or the γ-oryzanol having been used as a raw material for general medicines or cosmetics to external uses as an ointment, cream or lotion permits to naturally blacken the color tone of hair or skin without causing damages to living bodies.
