Abstract:
To provide a fiber for an artificial hair having a natural gloss and suppressed deterioration of strength, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: The fiber for the artificial hair includes a recombinant structural protein and a gloss suppression particle incompatible with the recombinant structural protein. A content of the gloss suppression particle relative to 100 pts.mass of the recombinant structural protein is over 1 pt.mass and 12 pts.mass or less. The gloss suppression particle is an organic polymer particle or a metal oxide particle having an average particle diameter over 0.2 μm and 10 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
