Abstract:

To provide a propylene-based fiber material and textile products thereof, which are excellent in dyeability and hydrophilicity, causes no degradation of inherent performance of polypropylene, such as rigidity and heat resistance.

The fiber formed from a propylene-based copolymer or composition thereof, is compounded with 100-30 wt.% polar group-containing propylene copolymer (A) which includes 94.9-99.99 mol% propylene unit represented by structural formula (I), 0.01-0.1 mol% polar unit represented by structural formula (II) and 0-5 mol% nonpolar unit represented by structural formula (III), and has 20,000-1,000,000 weight-average molecular weight, 0-50 wt.% propylene-based polymer (B) and 0-20 wt.% thermoplastic resin (C) other than the polypropylene-based polymer, wherein MFR of the mixture of the ingredient (A), the ingredient (B) and the ingredient(C) is 1-3,000 g/10 min (wherein, R1is a 1-20C hydrocarbon containing a polar group; and R2is H or a 2-20C hydrocarbon).
