Abstract:

To improve a soybean protein fiber to have excellent dimensional stability and strength, while simultaneously highly keeping the soft touch feeling, luster and quality feeling of the soybean protein fiber in conventional technology.

This fabric obtained by mix-using the soybean protein fiber with a polyamide fiber is provided by having ≤7% total of absolute values of dimensional changing rates of warp yarns and weft yarns of the fabric by washing the fabric in accordance with the JIS L 0217-10 method, and also ≥13.0 N total of absolute values of tearing strength of the warp yarns and weft yarns of the fabric in accordance with the JIS L 1096-D method.
