Abstract:
To control the proliferation of putrefactive bacteria and pathogenic bacteria in sweat, stains, dirt or the like adhered to various kinds of fiber products to prevent the generation of the harmful bacteria and stinks in the fiber products.
Lactobacillus are imparted and immobilized to wool, cotton, hollow fibers, split fibers, a fabric using the fibers or yarns, or a fiber product produced from the materials as a material under a reduced pressure environment in the presence of a binder. The lactobacillus is especially preferably a product obtained by adding and fermenting Lactobacillus fermentum and Pichia kluyveri to the used residues of one or more materials selected from beans, grains and corms.
