Abstract:
To provide a fiber-reinforced base material and a fiber-reinforced laminate which not only can obtain a fiber-reinforced resin that has good matrix resin impregnatability and are excellent in dynamic characteristics such as impact resistance (in particular, compressive strength after impact: CAI) with good productivity but also are in excellent in handleability (in particular, shape stability).SOLUTION: There are provided a fiber-reinforced base material 11 in which a porous resin material 13 is arranged on at least one surface of a fiber-reinforced assembly 12 selected from [1] reinforcing fiber threads, [2] reinforcing fiber thread groups formed by arranging the reinforcing fiber threads side by side and [3] a fiber-reinforced cloth formed of [1] or [2], in which the resin material contains (a) 99-60 wt.% of a polyphenylene sulfide resin and (b) 1-40 wt.% of at least one amorphous resin selected from a polyether imide resin and a polyether sulfone resin, when the total of (a) and (b) is 100 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
