Abstract:

To improve scuff resistance by providing a surface resin layer on a surface of a shaft body having a plurality of fiber layers made at least of carbon fiber, and incorporating fine powder of polymer compound in the resin layer.

A surface resin layer 3 is formed on a surface of a shaft body 2 via a resin layer 4. The body 2 is formed in a multilayer structure having a plurality of fiber layers made of at least carbon fiber. The layer 3 contains fine powder of polymer compound. The material uses various fluorine compound, polypropylene, polycarbonate, phenol resin, acrylic resin, acetal resin or the other. Its mean particle size is, for example, 0.1 to 20μm. Content of the powder of the compound of the layer 3 is set to 0.5 to 50wt.%. The layers 3 and 4 use urethane resin, acrylic resin, epoxy resin, polyester resin or the other, and its thickness is 5 to 100μm.
