Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a fiber-reinforced soil cement solidified body which has an improved ratio of each of bending strength and tensile strength to compressive strength even when the reinforcing fiber is mixed in a small amount, and in which an expected sufficient reinforcement effect of the reinforcing fiber is brought about through appropriate setting of the compressive strength value of the body and the kind and mixing amount of the reinforcing fiber, by mixing a specified amount of high strength, short and small-diameter reinforcing fiber into soil cement having a specified compressive strength value when hardened.
SOLUTION: This body is produced by mixing high strength, short and small-diameter reinforcing fiber into soil cement having a 1.5-4.0 MPa compressive strength value when hardened in a 0.5-1.0% volume mixing ratio of the fiber to the soil cement and forming the soil cement mixture into a cement solidified body having high bending strength and high tensile strength such that the ratio of the bending strength to the compressive strength is ≥50% and the ratio of the tensile strength to the compressive strength is ≥30%, wherein as the reinforcing fiber, Vinylon(R) fiber having a 10-20 μm fiber diameter, a 4-10 mm fiber length and a 1,500-2,500 MPa fiber breaking strength value, or Vinylon(R) fiber having a 25-50 μm fiber diameter, a 10-20 mm fiber length and a 800-1,500 MPa fiber breaking strength value, is used. Thus, high adhesion strength between the reinforcing fiber and the cement hardened material in the fiber-reinforced soil cement solidified body can be secured.
