Abstract:
To provide a fiber size which has excellent oil removability by heating, and has reduced variation in the oil removability as well.
The fiber size of glass fiber contains starch, a lubricant, the metallic salt of alkali phosphate and water. The content of the above metallic slat of alkali phosphate is 0.2 to 4.5 wt.% based on the whole weight of nonvolatile components in the fiber size.
