Title:
FIBER STRUCTURE HAVING HEAT-INSULATING FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11256480
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a fiber structure free from sticky feeling even in the case of directly contacting with the skin and exhibiting excellent heat-insulation performance even under a low-temperature and low-humidity condition in winter season, etc.

This fiber structure contains hollow fibers. At least a part of the hollow fibers have sporadically distributed interconnection holes connecting the fiber surface and the hollow part. A sustained-release gel of a water-absorbing polymer containing a Guinea pepper component is filled in the hollow part of the hollow fiber. The Guinea pepper component is preferably vanillyl butyl ether.
