Abstract:
To provide a fiber structure for a fiber-reinforced composite material and a fiber-reinforced composite material, capable of suppressing reduction in strength of the fiber-reinforced composite material.SOLUTION: In a fiber structure for a fiber-reinforced composite material, a second yarn layer 22 located at a first end in a third direction Z has first auxiliary yarns 25 which extend in a second direction Y between weft yarns 24 adjoining in a first direction X, and are engaged with second binding yarns 32. The second yarn layer 22 located at a second end in the third direction Z has second auxiliary yarns 26 which extend in the second direction Y between the weft yarns 24 adjoining in the first direction X, and are engaged with first binding yarns 31. Outer diameters of the first binding yarn 31, the second binding yarn 32, the first auxiliary yarn 25, and the second auxiliary yarn 26 are smaller than outer diameters of a warp yarn 23 and the weft yarn 24. The first auxiliary yarn 25 and the second auxiliary yarn 26 pile up in the third direction Z.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
