Abstract:

To provide a fibrillating and pulverizing method of fibroin, capable of fibrillating and pulverizing fibroin to a nano-level fiber width without contaminating debris.SOLUTION: Fibroin is pulverized by using a pulverizing device 1 having a pair of an upper side disk 3u and a lower side disk 3d with changeably arranging a facing gap width, a rotary part 4 for rotating the lower side disk 3d, and an input part 2 for inputting a fibroin solution to a center part side of the upper disk 3u and the lower disk 3d. At this time, a liquid is applied to a flat surface part 32 of the upper side disk 3u and the lower side disk 3d at first. Then the lower side disk 3d is compressed so as to sandwich the liquid at a state that the liquid is applied, and the fibroin solution is input into a center part of the upper side disk 3u and the lower side disk 3d. The lower side disk 3d is rotated and the fibroin is pulverized with the flat surface part 32 sandwiched by the liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
