Abstract:
To provide a fibrous formed material having a sufficient shape stability, easy for thrusting cut flower, etc., easy for rooting, having pores for easy ventilation, further having water-holding property and excellent in discarding property.
This fibrous formed material is provided by consisting mainly of a natural fiber and hydrophilic polymer made as not dissolvable with water, mixing so that 50-95% of them consists of the natural fiber, having 50-95% occupying ratio of surface pores having 0.5-5 mm pore diameter to an apparent surface area, and having a structure of which surface pores join with the inside of the material and 0.05-0.20 g/cm3 density.
