Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mass-produce figure drums of good quality equipped with vivid and proper figures at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: A figure film F is drawn out from a payoff roller 18, and the starting point of a figure display part 6 is located in place over a drive roller 12. A ring R is set on the drive roller 12, and the center position of the index 4 as reference for the ring R is aligned below with the starting point of the display part 6. A pressing mat 16 of a hot press roller 15 is contacted by pressure to the periphery of the ring R from above the figure film F while set roller 12 is driven into rotation. With rotation of the set roller, the hot press roller 15 puts the display part 6 in hot pressure contact with the periphery of the ring R. As a result, the figure display part 6 is finely transcribed onto the periphery of the ring R.
