Abstract:
To provide a file edition device to control an increase of man-hour needed for a file edition work due to versions generated in the past and to control an occurrence of work errors.
File versions of a file at a client stored in an external memory 15 are read first (S100). Then, the read file versions of the file and a version association table stored in a memory device 14 are outputted to a monitor 11 and user's selection of software for editing one of the versions is waited (S110). As soon as the user selects software for editing one of the versions, the software for editing the version is started (S120).
