PURPOSE: To prevent any useless file from being generated at a memory device, where files are generated, by erasing the generated temporary file when time for generating the temporary file to be generated inside a communication equipment is longer than prescribed time.

CONSTITUTION: Temporary file entries (flag 9, file name 10 and generation time 11) are generated on the memory of an OA equipment, and substances 12 and 13 of temporary files are existent on a disk. The temporary file, for which one entry is composed of one element, is managed and whether the temporary file is existent or not is specified by turning on/off the flag 9. The file name 10 is equal to that of the temporary file on the disk, and the generation time 11 expresses the time when the temporary file is generated. Then, the generation time for the temporary files 12 and 13 to be generated inside the communication equipment is counted and when the generation time for the temporary file is longer than the prescribed time, the generated temporary file is erased. Therefore, the temporary file after the lapse of prescribed time is not remained.
