A translation function 2 translates a macro instruction in a source program 5, which can easily and effectively process data with simple knowledge and converts it into a machine program 6. The execution control function 3 transfers data between the direct access storage device 4 and a main storage device in accordance with the content of a control information storage area called from the translated macro instructions and generated by the macro instruction. The execution control function 3 decides the data storage place of the direct access storage device, and the direct data storage place can be designated in the macro instruction. Thus, the restoration is attained from optional data.
