PURPOSE: To fill a high-viscosity, thixotropic material, such as a putty used as a dynamic balance correction material of a rotary body, into a tank without air mixed, and to deliver the material filled in the tank by a as required amount with a high accuracy by a method wherein the filling tank is depressurized during filling of the high-viscous material and a raw material tank is pressurized so as to drip the high-viscosity material by a combination of pressurization and depressurization.
CONSTITUTION: A vent adapter 2 is attached on a filling tank 2, and a filling nozzle 4 which is air-tightly mounted on the bottom of a raw material tank 1 is inserted in the vent adapter 3. A vacuum pump 5 is connected to the vent adapter 3 to maintain the inside of the filling tank at a negative pressure of several mmHg. At the same time, air in the filling tank 2 is evacuated, and a high-viscous material M is pressurized by a piston 6 and extruded into the vent adapter 3 through the nozzle 4. The high- viscous material M is pressurized and filled into the filling tank which is depressurized so that the high-viscosity material having a viscosity higher than 4,000 poise can be induced and filled into the filling tank without air mixed in the material even when the negative pressure in the filling tank is at around -1 atmospheric pressure in gauge.
