Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a film capacitor having excellent moisture resistance, insulation resistance and strength, in which a plurality of capacitor elements each having metallicon electrodes at both ends respectively are accommodated and arranged in a row in a cylindrical case having open ends, connected in parallel with outside leadout terminals, and covered with a pair of concave-shaped terminal covers so as to cover both ends of the cylindrical case, in which the inside of the concave-shaped terminal covers or the interior of the cylindrical case is filled with insulation resin, and in which a filling time required for filling spaces between the capacitor elements, the cylindrical case and the inside of the concave-shaped terminal covers with the insulation resin is reduced.SOLUTION: There is provided a film capacitor which has a notched portion or a through hole to be filled with insulation resin provided on at least one side of the end side surfaces of a cylindrical case.
