Abstract:

To provide a filmy catalyst with high reactivity in a small amount of the dropout.

In the filmy catalyst having a powder catalyst and a catalyst layer containing a binder formed on a substrate, the catalyst layer has a pore size distribution with two or more different mode values measured by the mercury intrusion porosimetry. Among the two or more different mode values, the maximum mode value t1and the mode value t2different from the mode value t1satisfies the relationship represented by formula (I): t2≤0.2×t1(I).
