PURPOSE: To obtain a rodenticide-containing film which can be easily produced and handled and keeps the rodenticidal effect over a long period, by compounding a rodenticide to a polyolefin such as low-density polyethylene, a carboxyl-containing ethylene copolymer, etc., and forming the obtained composition in the form of a film.

CONSTITUTION: A polyolefin is compounded with 0.1W10wt% rodenticide (e.g. naramycin, lamtalin, kotomycin, etc.) and formed to a film to obtain the objective rodenticide-containing film. The polyolefin is e.g. a low-density polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer, etc., and is especially preferably a carboxyl-containing ethylene copolymer owing to its high compatibility to drug and good stretchability and other physical properties. In addition to a mono-layered film, a laminated film composed of an inner layer of a polyolefin and an outer layer of a composition of a polyolefin and a rodenticide may be used for the packaging of a good such as rice, wheat, etc.
