PURPOSE: Title film-forming agent which is used to form on the surface of a ventilation fan a stain-resistant film, which, even when stained with oil, is easily released, having as main constituents a film-forming, water-soluble high-molecular resin which is soluble in water or a lower aliphatic alcohol-based solvent and a specific organopolysiloxane.
CONSTITUTION: An organopolysiloxane represented by the formula, wherein R is a (substituted) monovalent hydrocarbon group, R' is H or a 1W4C alkyl, a is 0W 20, b is 2W50, c is 1W5, x is 2W40, y is 0W20, and bx/(a+b)≥1, is used in an amount of 1W10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of a film-forming high-molecular resin (such as polyvinyl alcohol) which is soluble in water and/or an aliphatic alcohol- based solvent. The film-forming high-molecular resin is used in an amount of 1W 10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the solvent (water, or water and ethanol). To a mixture containing said two components 1W20%, based on the resin, of a polyhydric alcohol and 0.1W1%, based on the resin, of a nonionic surfactant are added to obtain a film-forming agent. The alcohol and the surfactant are added to improve solubility and dispersibility.
