Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve operability and retrieving efficinecy in manual retrieval.
CONSTITUTION: When a retrieval mode is set by an operating part 8, and high- speed feed is instructed by the quick feed switch or the rewinding switch of the operating part 8, a control part 47 feeds a film 11 at high speed to a prescribed direction until this instruction is canceled, and image-picks up the image of each frame by a CCD 23 in density coarser than that at the time of usual reproduction. The image-picked up image is given prescribed image processing by the processing circuit of a succeeding stage, and is displayed successively on a monitor TV. When the high-speed feed instruction is canceled, the image of the frame at that time is image-picked up by the CCD 23 in the density at the time of the usual reproduction, and after being given the prescribed image processing, it is displayed on the monitor TV. Since the image of each frame is image-picked up at the coarse density during the retrieval, and when the retrieving operation is canceled, the frame at that time is image-picked up and reproduced at the density at the time of the usual reproduction as the selected frame, retrieval processing can be speeded up.
