Abstract:
To provide a film-like water absorption material which has excellent biodegradability, excellent water absorbability and gel strength, to provide a manufacturing method thereof and to provide water absorption article including the same.
The film-like water absorption material is formed by crosslinking a cellulose derivative or its salt with a crosslinking agent. The film-like water absorption material is characterized in that the amount of water absorption to 0.9% of a saline is 10 times or more of its tare and the gel strength in a twenty times the aqueous solution absorbed state of the tare is 3,000×10-7 N/mm2 or more.
