To provide a film processing device capable of restricting the width direction of a photographic film even when a film leader is coupled and suppressing problems such as a conveyance defect and a disconnection defect.
The film processing device FA conveys the photographic film F while the film leader L which is wider than the photographic film F is coupled to a tip side of the photographic film F having been developed. The film processing device FA is equipped with a cutter 35 which separates the photographic film F and film leader L and a film width restriction guide 3 which is provided upstream from the cutter 35 in a conveyance direction and enters and exits from a conveyance path to guide the width direction of the photographic film F. The film width restriction guide 3 normally projects into the conveyance path, retracts from the conveyance path in response to the start of passage of the film leader L to a film width restriction guide position 3, and projects into the conveyance path in response to the end of the passage of the film leader L to guide the width direction of the photographic film F.
