To provide a film processing device which is free of a careless shift in a clamping position when a front end of a photographic film is clamped and conveyed by a clamping roller pair.
In the film processing device, a film processor FP for developing an undeveloped photographic film is arranged upstream and a film scanner FS for acquiring a frame image of a developed photographic film in the form of digital image data is arranged downstream. The film processing device is equipped with a chucker C which clamps the front end of the photographic film by the clamping roller pair 40 at a reception position set upstream and conveys the photographic film from the reception position to a passing position set downstream while clamping the photographic film, and a chucker motor CM which drives the chucker C from the reception position to the passing part. The film processor is further equipped with a brake rubber 43a which stops the clamping roller pair 40 from rotating while the chucker C moves from the reception position to the passing part and release members 5 and 6 which release the rotation stop state both at the reception portion and at the passing part.
