Abstract:
PURPOSE: To configure a gate assembly to align precisely a frame position of a film.
CONSTITUTION: The assembly is provided with an aperture to set an image frame of a strip film 35 with perforation to a focal position. After feeding a film equivalent to one frame to an aperture, 1st and 2nd pins 105, 106 are inserted to perforation holes of film end and a 3rd pin is inserted to a 3rd feed hole apart from the feed holes so as to exert an oblique tensile force thereto. Thus, the film is precisely aligned according to the positions of the 1st and 2nd pins 105, 106. The aligned film is clamped by a plate with a window and the image frame is kept to precise focal position. The operation above is repeated to each frame of the film and very precise alignment is realized.
