Title:
FILM SHEET FOR INK-JET RECORDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3407431
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve transparency by eliminating stickness of the printing surface, by a method wherein an ink absorbing layer having a water-soluble natural high molecular weight layer possessing alkali metal salt of carboxylic acid within a molecule containing a surface-active agent is provided on a polyvinyl alcohol layer on a transparent substrate.
CONSTITUTION: Ink containing at least pigments, a resin emulsion, sugars, a high boiling point water-soluble organic solvent and water is used, and printing is performed by heating a printed medium at temperature of at least the lowest film making temperature of the resin emulsion. An ink-jet recording film sheet to be used is formed by forming a polyvinyl alcohol layer on a transparent substrate and providing an ink absorbing layer possessing alkali matal salt of carboxylic acid within a molecule containing a surface active agent further on the upper layer of the polyvinyl alcohol layer. Hereby, in the film sheet, stickiness of the printing surface is eliminated, transparency is also favorable and a crack does not occur even if a time lapses.
