Abstract:
To improve productivity and maintenance performance of a film splicing device.
Laser beam is radiated to both end parts of a superposed part of a preceding film Fa with a subsequent film Fb. Transmitted light is received to detect received light width αn, βn of the laser beam. The films Fa and Fb are relatively moved to each other in the width direction for aligning in such a way that total value (total received light width) of the detected width αn, βn is equal to a reference value as total received light width when transmitted light is received similarly as the laser beam is radiated to both end parts of a single film, and the films Fa and Fb are spliced with each other.
